Sunday 19th April - walk **** – Falkenham circuit – sunny periods a tad
chilly.
Mag went on her early morning prom walk in the sun but I sleep right
through it, Mag did a quick shop at Lidl while I had breakfast in the back
garden before doing my exercises which was pleasant enough, it did cool off
when the clouds started to roll in! Mag made a new hanging basket before
sorting out loads of tomato plants to give away:) I brought my mountain
bikes into the back garden to swop over my electric front wheel only to
discover it didn’t fit, so not sure what to do now, perhaps look for a
second electric bike? I then packed a picnic, I discovered we had no bread
made knocked up a couple of yummy tuna wraps! We then drove over to
Falkenham Church to have a picnic with ‘Emily’ as it became more cloudy
and we needed another fleece as it was a tad on the chilly side! It is
lovely sitting at our favourite seat enjoying the peace and quiet with
stunning views down to the River Deben with a few yachts sailing. Mag with
her new glasses quickly spotted a couple of hare which were a long way off;
also a buzzard was calling overhead! We then did the 2 mile plus circular
walk in the countryside spotting several more hare and several hedgerow
birds, hardly seeing anyone else, just how we like it:)
